just orderd a small sebbie and the wait is up to three months for a reg plain but thats ok

I'd consider getting one from a reputable dealer. Same price, same product, no wait. But then again, anticipation is some of the fun isn't it. :)

I can tell you from 1st hand experience it IS worth the wait......!
it hasnt left my pants eversince I recieved it after a 3,5 month wait (except to use/play with ofcourse)

Enjoy the wait and the anticipation

Hello there from France.

I too ordered one on these ,via UK.

A small plain Sebby Insingo with double studs , and got it last week.

It was born on 14 Sept. IT WAS well worth the wait. Talk about SHARP !

It is a brother to my year 2000 small plain regular Sebby that was my EDC.

You just gotta love it !!

I really like the small 21. I was able to try the different models at a dealer and the small 21 felt like it was made with my hand in mind.

I ordered mine about a month ago (lg version) and agree, the wait is about to cause me to pull out my hair

yah i got my first sebenza and now im waiting a year for my large damascus, i feel your pain. But its truely worth the wait. i have no regrets. congrats!

let me guess you went to Edgeworks. I live literally 5 mins from you. Thats the only place in maryland other than knifecenter.

Yes, it was Edgeworks. I had only been there once before, but I've seen other folks speak well of them so I thought it was worth the trip so that I could actually hold the knives. I was there on a weekday morning and had the place to myself. I was pretty sure I was going to get the small Sebenza 21, but there were a couple of others I wanted to compare it to. They were happy to pull out as many knives as I wanted to handle. It was really cool being able to deal with another knife enthusiast. The guy who runs the place was pretty entertaining. He was almost reverent in the way he handled the Sebenza. If I'd been mentally quicker I could have made things easier for him because the first thing I did when I got to my truck was pull the knife out and put it in my pocket.

yah the owners name is Sean, i go up there frequently. Ive never purchased anything though, not cause the prices are too high (which there not) but because tax on a $400 knife is quite high. I just go there to handle the knife first. In a way its kind of crappy but it works for me. You ever go to the gunshows at the Ag center?

I've had a number of transactions with EW and every one has been superb - as with every other CRK dealer, btw.

Hopefully, when you finally receive it- it will at least meet your expectations, if not surpass them; as it did for me.
