Going to purchase a small Insingo online today,
there is $75.00 difference in the plain vs the Micarta.
Does the Micarta model fill your hand more than the plain?
Sure would appreciate your opinion. :D

The Micarta will give you some more traction on the handle. But, the ergos are so good on the Sebenza that I don't feel that it is necessary. If you enjoy the asthetics of the Micarta inlays and don't mind paying another $75, then buy that one. It all is personal preference. I myself, enjoy the asthetics of the plain jane Sebenza.

Inlaid Sebenzas do indeed fill your hand more than the plain. Your preference will vary, depending upon personal hand size, leanings towards low profile, etc. As for me, on a small, I prefer inlays (my EDC small Seb is a classic w/ cocobolo). I prefer a large with no inlays. Having said that, I unfortunately lost my large UG, and am trying out a Lg Insigno w/ micarta as a large EDC. It's growing on me. :)

Thanks fellas, for your input, very much appreciated.

Can't go wrong either way. I have both and have just really started using the Micarta and I think that one might win by a hair.

I've been asking myself this same question over the last couple days and plan to pick one up soon. I'm going to go with the micarta inlayed version, always liked the feel of it in the small.

Thanks guys! After going back to the Stores web site, and looking closer, the plain is SOLD OUT! duuuu :p
Macarta it is...

Received the Micarta Insingo Wednesday. Sure am pleased that I went with the micarta, feels great, and looks a little more finished than the plain.

Also I prefer the polished frame that the inlays have...

didnt notice til I handled a regular. Frame is different texture.

The small in Micarta is the same thickness as the large plain. Besides looks, I do think it feels better in the hand.

I carry a large Micarta Insingo and like it a lot.

I have both, and carry the plain more. I like and have many sebenzas with inlays, and the micarta is unique because it doesn't have a polished frame. It is more of a work knife, which is all well and good. It feels a little different, more grippy with the micarta.
Can't go wrong either way, you can also buy both and sell the less preferred one for a nominal loss.

Oh heck yeah it will!! That stuff is pretty dang tuff!! It's used for grips on guns too! Not only that CRK always does things right
