I have had my Small Sebenza since September. I have not yet used it but open and close it to try and break it in.
When I disengage the lock bar, the blade falls freely. But if I move the blade back and forth without closing or extending to the lock position it still feels a little tight and "bumpy". I am convinced it is the lock bar riding on the blade. Im hoping the detent ball just needs time to wear in to the metal? If I apply a dab of grease for the detent ball to ride on it is smooth. But over the course of a day of moving the blade back and forth you can feel the stent ball riding along again.
Is this pretty common? How long did it take before the detent ball wore in to the groove to get that "buttery" feeling?
