I have just received a report of a closed blade contact issue with my carbon fiber back spacer. I want to give notice to everyone that purchased a back spacer to please insure that your closed blade is not contacting the CF. The one spacer having the problem has visible edge impressions readily seen in the spacer trough. You should be able to shine a light between the Ti scales to illuminate the underside of the spacer spine to check for signs of physical contact.

The back spacers are all machined identically and it is puzzling that only one (so far) out of the dozen milled is having issues. If anyone is experiencing the same issue... I will absolutely remedy the problem and pay all mailing costs both ways.

Way to look out and take care of the customers! :)

I checked mine and found no evidence of an issue. There were no marks on the backspacer and I was able to run a small string between the blade and backspacer with no resistance while the knife was closed.

The knife has an Insingo blade.

Thank you Adam!

Thank you too Joe for going the extra step with the string check!
