Although I'd probably never take it hunting, my small Sebenza looks like it would do a pretty good job gutting & skinning an (pronghorn) antelope.

Anyone happen to use their sebenza this way?

I've got a Spyderco Mouse on the way and I intend to try it this year.

Yeah. There was discussion not too long ago I posted about it. Two seasons ago I used my small decorated sebenza(now retired)to gut a whitetail. It worked just fine, though afterward I was wishing I had the large. Seems the larger blade would have made the job just a little easier. Though I not only gut my deer/elk, but actually process them as well. Big job, but meant for the large sebenza. When it came time to do that I had to resort to my assortment of skinning and quartering knives. I now carry a large wood inlayed sebbie. Hope to test it out this season. The knie fits may hand just perfect, even for everyday use. It fits into my pocket just fine, but I prefer to use the CR leather belt sheath to carry it most of the time. It's nice because it wares both horizontally and vertically on the belt. Hope some of this babble helps. Peace!
