i recently looked at my small sebenza liner. i noticed that the liner travels about 90% in. other sebenzas i've seen go about 60-70% into the blade to lock. my blade is still locked tight, but i was just wondering over normal use will it ever move all the way over and the blade start having a little play? i'm i worried over nothing?

It's probably going to take awhile for the liner to wear all the way over and even longer for the blade to feel loose. Remember, CR can always make it new again.

Use your knife. Enjoy it!

And welcome to the forums!!

i looked at the small sebenza in better lighting this afternoon. my guess is that after years of use the ti liner might wear all the way over to the other side of the blade. i guess if it ever did, i can send it back to CR and he can 'fix' it. those classics are tempting me. i always ask about were the liner contacts the blade when i buy now (not just CR). i wonder if CR will ever consider an Axis type lock? thanks for the reply and reassurance Frank.

We don't see this as being a problem with your knife, camvdcs and, as you mentioned, if you do start to feel any play or are concerned about it, you can send it back for us to check!
