I recently saw a carbon fiber spearpoint WH with a 3" blade at a great price. I had been thinking about a small Sebenza as an everyday carry, high status, show off type of knife. I know that the Sebenza is much more heavy duty, but I have a desk job and this knife will not do any heavy cutting. It will be my medium sized gentlemen's piece. Should I get the relatively inexpensive William Henry or save for the sebenza?

If you can get a good price on the Spearpoint I would jump on it. My younger brother loves his, has taken to showing it off around the Law Office. A near perfect, very useful gents carry.

But what can I say about the Sebenza that I haven’t repeated several times by now? If you come across a decent deal on one of those, you will leave the rest of your knives at home. A simply great knife.

Go for the best available deal! You will be happy either way.

the henry is a nice knife, but you'll never look back if you get the benza.of course, you could always get the henry, play with it a week or two and possibly sell it for a small profit to help you get your benza! russ

I actually had a used Umfaan for a few days. I liked it, the grind of the blade was flawless, but I let it go. I wanted something closer to three inches in blade length. The William Henry is $189.95 brand new and I know that WH prices have just gone up. That is why I'm interested.

I have several Sebenzas and William Henrys. The WH are light and as St. James said perfect Gentleman's Knife. I carry mine when I am wearing a suit. The Sebenza series large, small and Umfaan) are just a tad too heavy for my dressier days.

Copfish, that friend of mine that you sold the CF Lancet to, well now he wants to sell it, all because I made the mistake of letting him see the Jigged Bone Lancet that I picked up this past weekend, now he says, `Man I want that one!' So I told him to try and sell it off, I think he might be bitten by the bug?

The Lancet is about the nicest blade shape and handy as well, but the small Sebenza is really the worker of the two, very tough knife, but I'm glad that I have both!

I went for the William Henry. It's cheaper and I wanted a gent's knife. To me the WH simply has a classierr look. The plain Sebenza is all business and decorated costs too much for me.

Anthony, good deal. I think you'll be happy with your choice.
