Small Sebenza Regular with DIY scale

Hi guys,

I don't post much but I read this forum almost everday.

I thought I would share with you the DIY scale I just finished. I wanted a unique Sebenza and contact CRK about it, but they informed that they don't do the custom stuff I wanted.

So I took out the tools and had a little fun.

Here is the result. I hope the pictures show up as I don't have the ability to upload pictures directly on here.

The wood is quilted pomelle sapele. I have a few pieces I bought about 8 years ago and saved some of it.

The thickness of of the scale is a little thicker than the original ti scale as I feel it would add a little more strength to it. As you know with the wood scale it not be as strong as the original scale.
