I recently picked up a small sebenza and the lock seems to stick when I tried to push the lockbar over. Is there a break in period? I've been opening and closing for a few days now and I don't mind working with it more since I love the knife. Thanks

If the lockbar face and the tang are dry, try rubbing a pencil on the tang area of the blade.

If they are lubed/wet, try drying them off, then put the pencil graphite on there.

Sounds a little out there, but it works. It will seem like a temporary fix, but keep doing it. It will work.

I had one with a problem like that, I sent mine back to CRK for a fix.

Remember a pencil lead is a mix of fine clay and graphite. I would imagine the find clay will eventually cause some wear.

They fixed it.

The pencil thing is a good trick and I have tried it. If it's a permanent problem though I'd consider sending it in.
