Small Sebenza With Clip?

The small is so light, I was always afraid of losing it clipped to my pocket. Do you think their is anything to worry about? I do not have a small, at this time, but can't wait to get another one. The other one, I always carried it in my pocket, but like a knife clipped to my pocket better.:confused:
 
I doubt there is much to worry about unless you squat alot...this may tend to push the knife up and reduce the amount of clip holding the knife in the pocket.

On the other hand, if you sit a lot it may be likely that an unclipped knife would fall out of your pocket. My small Sebenza rides vertically in my FL pocket standing between the inside of my pocket and my wallet. In addition, my wife made me a fleece sheath that the knife stays in. The fleece does not slide easily out of my pocket.

I've never had one fall or even come close to falling out of my pocket. I daily carry this bad boy without fear of losing...

I have not seen even a small indication of it coming loose or working its way out of my pocket (right front), and I sit a lot (wearing jeans). It seems pretty secure to me.
 
Ok, I dont own a small-only a large Classic. Ive been EDC`ing it for about three months though, and never had any issues with the clip. The knife sits pretty tight and Im pretty confident in the clip-I really doubt it would be easy to lose the knife if its clipped onto a pocket. Im carrying it in the right front pocket too, btw... .
 
I just got a small classic and having owned several spyderco, benchmade, microtech .... This is the most secure clip I have seen on a knife. Certainly the best designed. I have lost a couple of knives in deep couches wearing dress pants with thin material but i have no worries with this one. It really has two spots on the clip where it makes contact. A very well thought out detail of a well thought out knife.
 
I have NEVER had any issues with the clip coming loose on any of my Sebbies.
 
I carried one with the old style clip (which weren't known for being very grippy...) pretty much daily for close to ten years without losing it:D . It's recently been retired and replaced with a small micarta classic and the clip seems to be very secure. I say "carry it, use it, and don't worry about it". It'll never let you down.

I carry IWB in the waste band, right rear. Knife is inside, clip outside, but clip is under belt. Very secure!
I have lost a knife once from my back pocket, but I was crawling around an attic in tight spaces.
 
I carried a small with clip for about 2 years straight and never had a problem with it coming out.
