Small & Sharp

Hello everyone,

I've been lurking on these forums for ages but decided to ask for help in deciding what knife to get my father for Christmas.

Specifically, I am looking for something quite small with incredible sharpness and edge retention.

I love my ladybug zdp but sadly my father is a bit traditional and would probably attempt to kick my @#$ if I gave him a "lady" bug.
 
Well the Man Bug is out from Spyderco, but it doesn't come in ZDP189, only VG10--but VG10 is a good steel in its own right.
 
Kershaw, Spyderco, William Henry, all make knives in ZDP. Not sure of your father's taste or your price range.

Kershaw knives span the price range from low end ($40), to well over $100.

Spydercos run $100 and up, although some are less.

William Henry... well, I won't scare you.
