For the past year I have had this little metal shell handled Imperial as my backup knife, often saving the day if I forget a larger folder like the Lloyd folder shown in the following picture, or the muskrat that I won and have carried all week. For a whole dollar this is probably the best value for the money that I have ever found, and part of this is because of the very useful punch included with the former clip main blade (now a wharncliffe- my favourite blade shape).

I'm looking to see other small knives with included punches. The Imperial is 2 3/4" long closed, with a 1 1/2" master blade and 1 1/4" punch. The little blade sharpens like a scalpel- good for trimming hardened skin on my fingertips between massages, and the punch is a useful general tool for EDC purposes that others seem to break blades doing- scraping, light prying, boring etc. I have not missed an even smaller blade like one may find on a peanut, mostly due to the very short master blade. I think that a pattern like this (maybe in peanut form with clip) would be a good suggestion for future BF Traditional knife down the line, as peanuts have been called for, as have punches- and this would be a useful unique pairing for the two- but that discussion can wait a month or two I guess!

Does anybody else have pictures of small knives with punches- and better yet does anybody else carry a small 'punched' knife??

I really dig the S&M harness jacks. I carry this one regularly. I also have the same one in ebony, NIB.

I have a smallish stockman case. It has the long "california" clip blade and sheepsfoot, and a punch in place of the normal spey.

Can't post a pic right now, but it was a giveaway knife. It is very handy! And very pocket friendly. The punch is needle sharp!

I don't know about small, but I find the punch on this harness jack mighty useful at times.

I recently picked up this Queen stockman with punch. It's 3-1/2" closed.

(my knife, but not my pic)

the red one- duh- It's a Hibbard Spencer Bartlett & Co. Then the Imperial in foreground of 2cd pic, with awl folded (great for piercing eggs so they don't split when boiled)
