I was about to buy a Cricket to compliment my dodo, but between all the current models, which one do you like the most and why?

Scaling down my EDC lineup.

Dragonfly, Cricket, Salsa, Meerkat etc.

Kopa. Small, yet comfortable in hand, and very stylish.

My favorite small Spydie is the Kopa. It has VG-10 and is classy.

My #2 is probably the Dragonfly.

The Cricket is great, but sometimes I feel like I'd rather a more utilitarian blade shape over the reverse s shape. My girlfriend EDCs only the Cricket and she does fine with it.

Well, let's take the Kopa out of it....it's not what I'm looking for right now. Had one for a short while and gave it to a good friend as a graduation present. Awesome knife, but I'm just looking for something mid priced and small.

For an EDC I don't think that I will ever go smaller than a Delica, Salt I, Calypso Jr, or a Native.

Those are all normal sized knives...the Delica is a good size, really, but the Native, especially the III, is a little bulky. I'm going to small EDCs for awhile. I'll probably pick up a mini skirmish soon, but other than that, all the top knives on my list are tiny.

As for the cricket, I've had great experiences with the blade shape on my dodo (surprisingly), and while it isn't for everyone, I'm totally open to another one.

Dragonfly in SS. I wish the dragonfly's came in colors thou. That would be the bomb.

A vote for the Salsa. The thumb placement atop the cobra feature allows you to put a lot of weight behind your cut.

They're super-light, too. I clip one IWB when I'm jogging.

Navigator II.

2 1/4" VG-10 Stainless Steel blade, Stainless steel handles and Pocket Clip.

I don't know what it looks like but maybe they Spydie Spin will show up at SHOT. It's a small steel folder.

Martial, I held my poliwog up to the monitor (15") and it is the exact same
size as the Navi II in the pic above. I carry the cricket or poliwog in my watch
pocket everyday. Both would make a great edc utility.

Get a VG10 almite Navigator. One really solid bugger for a lil' knife.

i second the navigator. A good friend of mine gave me an almite Navigator. It's a very nice small non threathening matter seperator. Good ergonomics and the blade has a lot of cutting power.

Don't have any experience with the other ones but I like the salsa. I like the fact that it is a reletively small knife, but that you can still get a full grip on it.
