So I was bored today and digging through my drawer with all of my supplies and decided to throw a few things together and build a little personal survival kit around my XLT. Here's what I ended up coming up with:

Remarkably, with just this small amount of equipment, and the wide variety of tools on the XLT this becomes quite the little PSK.

I have within the kit:

1. Thermometer
2. Compass/ruler for mapping
3. Fire starter
4. Flashlight
5. Sharpening stone
6. All the functions of the XLT

I think with this gear and maybe a mirror and some hooks and fishing line this could be quite the little set up.

Let me know what you think guys.

Ya the pjcb's sound good I found another little pocket on the back of the pouch behind the belt clip, I could put em in there. Someone else on another forum suggested a tiny whistle too. I'm gonna need a bigger pouch hehe

very nice! I have a similar/smaller setup with a champion plus and a AAA light in a pouch ;)
