One of the Sebenza options I've see mentioned is the "small swedge". I understand this to be a false edge which can be left polished or,for a modest extra charge, receive the tumbled finish. How long is this back edge? Is it thin enough so that it might be readily sharpened? Does anyone have a picture. Thanks.

This is what I was told by CRK: "The small swedge is 2 steep angles which come together at the top/back of the knife blade. It is not sharp enough to cut. So in essence, yes the small swedge is a form of a false edge. We do not offer the small swedge option for knife blades sent in for reconditioning. The small swedge option is available for $20.00 when ordering a new sebenza." I believe that the swedge (on a large Sebenza)is approx 1 to 1.5 inches long.

Sorry, I don't have a pic......
