Small TDI trainer?

Hey guys I just picked up a small TDI knife and I love the thing so far. The thing came scarey sharp from the box. Managed to scratch myself at some point, didn't even notice til later when my back was itchy and I found a scab haha.

Anyway, would anyone know where I could find the trainer version of the small TDI? I know that they still make the larger version but I've been unable to find the small guy. I have a friend who's been doing martial arts and self defense stuff for a long time who said he'd be willing to work with me on the use of this particular knife if I could find a trainer.

Large trainer is all they offer.

But the grip angle is the same, and the overall techniques should transition fine, I would imagine.

I like my TDI original, I have the Blaze Orange model. They are handy as can be, and from what I hear, field dress a deer pretty good. I can't wait to try mine out.

If you have someone that is willing to work with you, I say go for the large trainer, and possibly the large TDI knife. In a scrape, I would want as much steel in front of me as possible.

Actually chose the small TDI for the legality. It's actually the only knife I carry that's legal pretty much no matter where I go.

If you or a friend is handy at making stuff, get some thick plastic kitchen cutting board and cut out the shape. When I used to practice martial arts that's one of the materials we would make training weapons out of.
