Just gotta put the idea out there. I think a miniature/small version of the Ti-Lock would be the coolest little knife to have in one's pocket. It would be a marvel, if it were even possible for them to make in a smaller size. I would love to see CRK try......I'd buy one.

I have to agree with you my friend!! But I doubt it will ever happen.. I don't think the Ti-Lock is popular enough for CRK to come out with a smaller version of the knife. It is an amazing design by G&G Hawk which has been brilliantly executed and manufactured my Chris Reeve.. but two things seem to be holding it back (IMHO) first and foremost is price... it is not a cheap knife even when compared to the other fine knives by CRK.. well actually it is the most expensive knife in the current lineup if you do not consider upgrades (options) and secondly and this is probably due to the fact that it is somewhat expensive.. not enough folks have had the opportunity to actually use or even handle one. Even though everything I have read and seen in reviews it scores high marks. Even if it does come with a couple of "empty" cavities in the new packaging. ;) But I am sure the reason for the high price has everything to do with the cost of manufacturing of this amazing knife. And of course we already have the Mnandi which in itself as our friend Dave (Fooj) as very accurately described as the "Pinnacle of CRK Design) although we can all disagree with Fooj and all have our own opinions (and that's what they are) you can't deny the fact that for a "Small" knife the Mnandi has few if any equals.. and from everything I have seen.. brisk sales to go with it.
All the best, Dave

I am sure you are quite right Dave, and this is just fantasy, and will remain so. At the same time, I kinda wonder if the Ti-lock is trying to compete in the wrong market, and might not work better as a smaller gents folder. We know it's not a hard-usage robust design (as admitted by CRK.....It's a concept knife), yet in size places it in league with the big boys. It's kinda big-boy size, without the big-knife strength. I'm not saying I don't dream of owning it in it's current form, but I wonder if it wouldn't be more of a hit with the community as a small gents blade to marvel at as you cut the tip off a nice Cuban. It isn't a great one-hand opener, and is not the kind of knife you'd thump on, so why not make it a delicate thing to marvel at?

Back to my imagination.......(BTW My daydreaming has now shifted to the Small Insingo with wood inlays fantasy, but that's already been put out there by many)

You are absolutely right Cody.. but the Ti-Lock for those who have never had the opportunity to see one in person is already a fairly small, very pocket-able "Gentleman's" knife. One of the amazing things about the design is that although it is almost identical in size to a Small Sebenza.. it has a much larger blade. And if you were to remove the somewhat or lets just say "unique" pocket clip (which is interchangeable with the Small Sebenza clip or insert) is even more so. I don't think most folks know that. It is not a Large knife. Here are some comparison photos that I apparently cant load so its a link..
Again, all the best!!

Now you've done it Dave. I didn't realize fully its size. My curiosity is piqued. I think the Ti-lock is drifting in my mind from a 'that would be cool to own someday' type of knife to a ' I gotta have it' type of knife.

Thanks Cody!! If I can lead another CRK fan to that next Great knife I am very happy to do so!!
And many thanks to our friend Dennis (d.r.h) for posting my very poor quality pictures!! Thanks Dennis!!
All the best, Dave
