I am looking for the smallest tin available. It can be plastic also. The size should be approximately 2" x 1" x 0.4". Again these measurements are approximate. The smallest I have seen is an Altoids tin-mini. It was 2.5" x 1.6" x 0.63". I have heard that someone makes plastic tins about the size I am seeking that are used for storing button batteries, but haven't found any yet. Oh! the reason I want one that small is so it can fit in my wallet or be used for to help separate items in my PSK tin. Any leads are greatly appreciated.

You're looking for a pill box! :) Try drugstores, or gift shops for fancier versions.

Sounds like what you are looking for are the boxes jewelers and watchmakers use for small parts. Don't know if this will help much, but if you are ever in New York City, check out the supply shops along 46th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue,in the commercial jewelry district. They carry dozens of styles in aluminum. steel and plastic.
