I posted this in the mfrs. section but have had no response. Hopefully, I am allowed to post it here:

I have a small Tree sheath knife OAL 7 3/8 w/ 4 1/8" Blade. On one side near the hilt is says 'Boker USA' and on the other side it has '153.'

It is in great used but not mint condition - has been gently sharpened but never actually used for cutting. Sheath is good, few cracks in leather, and is embossed with a moose standing in the woods.

I was wondering if there is somehwere I could get a value. (I understand I cannot post pictures.)

Thank you.

boker had 2 factories for extended periods of time. the american bokers were generally only a shadow of the german quality.because something is rare doe'snt always mean it has value.--dennis

As I don't know if it's rare, I am still wondering if it has some value. I have searched the internet and have not found one yet to give an indication of anything (unless it is an indication that it is not worth discussing :) )

I only know that it's from the late 40's - very early 50's and was hoping someone somewhere was familiar with it. (Maybe it is both 'rare' and 'valueless?' :) )

Maybe I can try writing to Boker and send them a picture.

Thanks for answering..
