Small Umnumzaan. Thoughts? - Now with mock-up pics

We have our small 25 (Inkosi), we have large and small 21s, a Large Mnandi has been discussed/wished for. How about the idea of a Small Umnumzaan? I know it's not the original idea of the knife, but let's face it, most Umnumzaans are being EDCd anyways, so it's not like it needs to be a practical idea for those Ninjas that actually use their Umnumzaan to silently dispatch their targets.

I would buy a small harpoon-point blade with the Umnum deployment method is a second. I think it would be possibly the coolest small folder ever produced by CRK if it worked. What do you think?

Before all else we need a MEDIUM! I could care less if it's a 21, 25 or zaan.
 
Agreed on a medium anything. I go back and forth trying to decide which size I like best. If the small were a hair larger or the large a hair smaller.
 
For me it's a large, 21, Reg,25, UM whatever... a small seems like a toy, an Umfaan.... just a "miniature' I know that smalls are as popular, if not more so than larges, but a medium seems like putting out too many knives, with not enough difference,,, We can all have CRK dreams,,, Mine is a Damascus , possibly Serrated Insingo!How about an XL 25/21? blade 1/2-1 inch longer? Bart

You and I both know that doesn't fill the gap. We need a tried and true version in medium size.
As for the clip I do like my Inkosi but the crooked clip is almost a deal killer for me. It's ALMOST as bad as the TI clip.
 
Well, I did a paper mock-up of this fantasy blade.

It would be awesome! A full four-finger grip on a tactical pocket jewel of a badass knife. If they made it, I'd buy two:

I think it would be awesome to have one! Very good idea, now I won't be able to sleep thinking about how cool that would be. :)

Before I read the thread down to this post, I was thinking the same thing, I like the small ones but they're too small for my hands, a medium would be genius!

I would like the blade to be the size of the tilock; but in an umnumzaan config, similar to this:

I'd get two right away, with a regular clip; and the new detent groove in the tang of the blade; sweet!!

I don't know how you did that but I dig it; it doesn't look like a small but it does; you're a wizard!!
 
Especially if it had the old pivot. We know that won't happen, but it is still hands-down one of the best looking knives on the planet, bar none, in my book.

Glad I have one, and wish I had a lefty old pivot, I'd be one happy camper.
 
I would totally be down for a Med
