Hello All.

Those of you that know me know that I am a diehard snow skier.

Have a little interesting story for you..

Yesterday, my friend and I went up to Winter Park for our weekly ski outing. Boy it was cold !!!! The thermometer said 10 below at the base...

Well we got ready and took the lift to the top of Mary Jane.. We slid off the chair at the top to a dead stop !!! I mean that was it. No sliding.... It was at that moment that we realized that the wax that we had put on our skis the week before (it was warmer) wasn't designed to handle snow that was colder then 10 below zero. Any of you that know anything about snow skiing know that if you have the wrong wax on your skis, you don't move very quickly and probably spend alot of time poling or walking with your skis which does not make for a very fun day.

Well, for the first several runs, it was torture.. Even on steep stuff, we were going slow. At about 10:30, we were both getting tired of poling and walking, so we took a break in one of the lodges.. And then, it came to me!!! :o I said to my friend, "I have my small sebenza with me.. Why don't we use it to scrape that warmer weather wax off the skis and see what happened.

For the next 20 minutes, we were using the sebenza to scrape the old wax off our skis. After we were done, we put our skis back on and what do you know.

WE COULD SKI AGAIN !!!!! EUREKA!!!! :D :D :D

The Sebenza saved the day !!!!!!! Ski day that is..
