Small Utility knife

Here is a small knife made from an antique saw mill blade. Stained maple handle with silver wire inlay and elk antler finger guard with a little scrimshaw.

The knife is 8 inches OAL, 3 7/8th blade etched in ferric.

Beautiful lil' knife. Nice work! I love sawmill blade steel!

That dip close to the edge in the hamon would bother me a little though.
 
that's cool, man. Love the shape of it, the textures and all the nice little touches. Also the sheath, it has a real nice look to it all on its own

Don & Lorien, that is a concern I share too, I did some performance testing prior to putting a handle on it and held an edge well.
