Hello all, There have been a couple of threads lately asking if one small wheel would fit a different manufacturer's small wheel holder. That got me to wondering, just what are the dimensions of small wheels? From my meager memory it seems KMG is somewhat the standard for small wheels? Is that true?
Does USAKnifemaker's small wheels fit the KMG holder?
Just what is the dimensions of various small wheels? Distance from end to end? I made a set of small wheels using R6-2RS bearing which are 3/8" ID and 7/8" OD, with 3-1/4" outside to outside measurements. Not sure where I came up with those, but was thinking somebody gave them to me as KMG dimensions.
It would be good to have a list of different manufacturers small wheel dimensions listed in a sticky for folks who wish to build their own small wheels and holder. It's so easy to build.
