Got this from a friend. I have not fell any trees or pryed up any floorboards with it. But I have played around with it a little and after a quick pass over the stones and the strop it's kind of cool.
Been trying to search online for information on it, who makes or made it and steel quality without luck. It's not Winchester made for sure but it's another company who has the right to use the brand name. I know Gerber has made some knives branded Winchester, I have also heard about other manufacturers with very young employees. In China. You get the picture.
A basic 511 for size reference.
If someone knows anything about it, please let me know.

(Excuse the quality of the image. I have no idea whay I am doing around anything with electricity... In it?)

I don't know, but it looks pretty much just like the ozark trail $3 lockback from Walmart.

I was told once that the steel on the Ozark trail line was 420j, and I'd suspect the same for this.
Not sure you can find out who made it through, just some nameless factory in China.

Who holds the license to use the Winchester name for cutlery now?
Case? SMKW? Someone else?

Is Case still doing the "Black Box" Winchester limited edition knives?

I'll agree with Hickory n steel Hickory n steel insofar as it is an inexpensive contract knife made in China.
The blade is probably 420J2, but it could just as easily be 440A or whatever the Asian equivalent to 440A is. It depends on what whoever ordered them specified.
Regardless, just because it was made in China does not necessarily mean the knife is worthless garbage.
Check out the YouTube reviews of that $3 Ozark Trail knife Hickory n Steel mentioned. :)

Regardless of country of origin, any product (not just cutlery) made under contract, is of the quality whoever is putting their name on that product wants.

I have a Winchester branded copy of the bluck 110 that has the exact same blade shape and styling as that knife of yours it seems decent enough quality considering it’s Chinese made does it feel like it’s going to fall apart in the hand.
