Working deal with cardboard box like move or unload, what knives do you use?
In Japan, 100% OLFA Cutter Knife. (Sometimes there is great idea; Cutter knife's refill blade bandaged by tape as grip. It is the most cheap and sharp knife in the world!!)
Yes, it is great. One-hand-Open-Close(faster than Microtech SOCOM!), sharp, safe, and cheap!

But if using knife for work, I think Buck M9 bayonet is not good choice.
I think best 1" or 2" small blade fixed blade.
One-hand folders seems good, but not! With rubber grove, it is not easy to One-hand-open-close(both SOCOM and Gerber E-Z-OUT).
Neck knives there is many great, but neck knife is for right carry, as not designed to long and hard use.

Is there good Sharp, tough, good grip with grove, useal sheath, and cheap small blade knife?
I know good, Fallkniven WM and MOKI(http://www.moki.co.jp/) MK-1120.

For cardboard, nothing beats the Stanley 99 retractable utility knife.

RH beat me to it!

I've been in maint.\construction for over 20yrs. I've been a knife 'enthusiast' for 25yrs....

NOTHING, NOTHING, beats a utility knife with a heavy duty blade, a half dozen more in the handle, and a dime in your pocket. That is 8 razor sharp blades available in less than a minute, and for less than $1 each. Only difference between my choice and RH's-I prefer to carry the 'fixed-blade' (Stanley no. 199, or 10-299) version utility in a leather sheath on my belt-easy access, never jams up, and is more secure in the hand (imho). I have had VERY BAD LUCK with the newer style 'bananna' easy open retractable Stanley's, they constantly jam on me and are a real pain in the arse.

With a myriad of blade shapes\designs there isn't much you can't do with one; and there isn't much of anything that they won't cut. Very sheeple friendly to boot.

I never understand why with such a great sub-$10 knife available why someone would constantly dull a fine knife on cardboard when the utility does it so much better AND SO MUCH CHEAPER! :D

Some day I'm going to write a review of this great little knife!

ahhhh.....but to each his own... :)
