Smaller ATR?

Is there any chance of a smaller version of the ATR somewhere down the road? Maybe something in the 3" blade range?

I would like a sub 3" version as well. I really like the ATR design but the knife is really too large for EDC for me. I would definitely buy a sub 3" one though.
 
Same goes for me. I live in a city that makes it illegal to carry a concealed knife with a blade larger than 3". Now even though the chance of getting caught with a larger blade is just about nil, I would still like a smaller ATR. There is also the scared sheeple factor if you work in an office.
