I'd like to jump on the "post pics of your kukri" bandwagon. Who has some Pen kukris and 15" and smaller kukris they'd like to show off? Maybe a large karda (the knife, not the mod ;p)? Super small kagnes or biltons in their theater of operations?

A few of my 13" Ghopte made by Durba to my specs. All steel fittings, no karda or chakmak for a slimmer scabbard. I ordered it to have a khuk that's easier to carry (concealed if required) with plenty of curve and belly to add to the chopping power of a smaller blade. Kept it at 9" blade and 4" handle. Perfect fit for me.

Still a bit rainy, sorry about the drops.

Lovely blades gentlemen!

snow and steel,
How do you like the bilton and what do you use it for? How does it fare in its role?

Cpl Punishment,
I like the kerambit, I'm hoping to shark a DOTD one of these days, or pick one up in the exchange.

pmwc78,
Very low profile, did the custom specs make the knife more suited to what you needed it for?

Works beautifully but it actually became my favorite camping/hiking blade. Out-performs it's size pretty darn well.

the classic 15 inch Ang Khola

its hilarious how a knife with an 8.5" blade can be in thread about smaller blades...

I use the Biltn for the kitchen, believe it or not - makes light work of cutting meats, even frozen. for $40, it's the finest knife I've ever boughten. I've got nicer HI knives in larger sizes, but I also paid a lot more. The handle is a tad on the small size, but I can still fit all figers on it, and it's a perfect sizer for trimming and cutting in the kitchen. plus, using a khuk in tehkitchen is, well... fun.

Here's a great "little" knife, a Ganga Ram/ Bonecutter blem, 12-1/4 inch, 16 ounces.

My wife's 15" Chitlangi with my 21.5" Chitlangi. Both in horn. Yes we have his & hers matching Chitlangis.

And let's not forget the Seax!

Here's the two small ones that get the most use, R-10 & HI Cleaver (16.5" CAK for size reference)

Here are my two "babies" and my son's Bilton.

Two special HI blades, gifts from friends:

6inch blade Antler handled Kuma Karda by Sher and a Kagas Katne, one of a pair given to another Forum member by Uncle Bill, then given to me as a birthday present. Two of most important pieces in my keeping.
