Smaller bug-out e-tool possibilities?

I was in wally World the other day when i noticed the mini folding shovel in their camping section for about 3$. Now, I know you get what you pay for, but with only two pieces of stainless steel to the thing it might be worth having a look at as a lightweight tool for woodsrunning, e&e, what have you. Any opinions, ideas?

I bought one of those wall-e-tools a while back. It was wrecked on the first use. Now, I'm not a delicate man, but neither did I do anything with it that I would have deemed hard-ues. My advice, get something (anything) else. Right now I've got a CS shovel, not super small, but I'm expecting it will last and last.

God bless,
Adam

It's a knock-off of the U-Dig-It trowel, which is better constructed. A hori hori like the Zenbori Soil Knife might work nicely as well.

thanks for the help, guys. I've been trying to avoid impulse buys and like any other guy in the camping (or hardware, or firearms, fishing...) section, Ive got a little raccoon in me, see something neat gotta try it (shiny! shiny!) but I'm glad for the help here. Heck, I'm thinking for a couple of dollars more I could just buy a good trowel from Lowe's or similar, and put a threaded fitting to correspond with the end of my walking staff( I could always take the endcap off and drill a female fitting to go underneath) if I needed extra leverage. opinions?
