Smaller Busse knives?

Eventually I'd like to get a smaller Busse to use while hunting. Could anybody help me out with the names of a few models to keep an eye out for? I want something just a touch smaller than a Meanstreet, and I like thin blades for working on critters. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The MOAMS might be just what you are looking for, there should be some in the exchange soon enough.

Cant go wrong with an Active Duty. Mine has been a trusted hunting partner for years. Never lets me down.

There are some nice Game Wardens floating around once in awhile. Another good choice.

As Garth said, Active Duty is a great knife. You might also want to look at the AMS on the Busse website. Great little EDC sized knife that won't break the bank.

Definately gonna give the AMS a go this hunting season. Perhaps this will be the one to retire the AD.

:eek::eek: ...Say it ain't so! NEVER!!! :grumpy:;) (Does give the AD a good run for the money though...AMSMO might be an even closer call! :):))

Another vote for the AD from me, I have two and both are well loved. I'd like to eventually get my hands on a Bony Active Duty with the higher heat treat.

BAD is thin, pointy and slicey. Higher hardness with better edge retention too. I miss my bads.

Lots of great ideas. I would not over look Swamp Rat blades in your search. I love my AD and Game Warden. I also love to use a Vex or Rodent Trail. Just a few more options for you. Like you needed a few more to throw in the mix. LOL

A few options from Leaner Meaner size down:

My fav in that size dept would be the muskrat, love that knife, The point on it is a true sticker, gets in and cuts great.

I carry a Game Warden around town and at the office weekdays, but prefer the Active Duty for weekend woods/trail/camp/garden carry.

Just recently on my Vacation in Hawaii I shipped 3 AMS's over 2 as gifts...we used them while out fishing they are quick agile handling little blades.
As Garth pointed out the Game Warden comes up on the exchange and I was using one until I got the AMS now its a toss up....I like the grip on the GW but I also like the nimble
slender feel of the AMS...I have LARGE hands so I was not sure about the AMS at first...I'm digging it now!!!!
