Looking for a fixed blade under 5 inches overall length for throwing in a pocket or bag. Would be used for basic edc tasks. Would prefer micarta or wood handles. Would like to keep it below $150. I have searched, read threads here and read elsewhere as well, but now interested to hear what suggestions you guys may have as I'm sure there are knives I haven't seen or considered despite my research.
Thanks.

I won a giveaway by Brian Culberson, it is a small neck knife reminiscent of a kephart knife. It is awesome in every way. I suggest contacting him.

When I carry an EDC fixed blade, I carry a Dozier custom, specifically a Personal with a modified Wharncliffe blade in CPM 154. It however is higher than your stated budget.

Take a look at the various neck knives which work as a pocket blade too made by Kabar Becker and ESEE and you may just find what you are looking for. I don't believe they would be considered Traditional knives so I am not listing my preference. I have one that I have been carring in my pocket off and on and like it. To give you a hint, it has the number 24 in it.

Skeleton handled knives are a bit outside our normal fare here in Traditional.
Traditionals only please.

And makers, please find a way to contact this gent outside of the Traditional forum. This is not a business venue.

Hess Knifeworks and Bark River offer decent small fixed knives in Traditional styles.

There are some other threads about small pocket fixeds with a lot of pix in them, I seem to recall.

Under 5"? Don't know of many traditional FBs that size, how about this Colt CT424?

I'm a big fan of Bark Rivers stuff they have something for everyone and in about every knife handle material you can imagine.

Watch the For Sale by Makers forum section closely. Knives like that are listed regularly, and in your price range.

I'm a fan of the Queen Lite Hunter series. Beautiful knives in D2 steel with bone handles. Well under $100 each.

There are lots of great knifemakers on this forum too.. agreed, check out the "Knife Makers For Sale" section.. great stuff in there in all price ranges. You can even place custom orders with some of the guys.

Bark River Essential or City Knife. Or a nice custom from one of our own.

Thanks for the info. I'll check into it.

Thanks for all the valuable information. Will go do some more research and will pay attention to the knife maker section.
Thanks again.

That's a real looker. Thanks for sharing. If you can PM or send a visitor message with maker I'd appreciate it.

JK Knives. Has a forum here. Would be a custom in your price range. It is an excellent little knife. My absolute favorite.
