There was talk of a smaller Military. What's the status? Personaly I would like to see the same size blade, but with a smaller handle like the Wegner.

A smaller military would be great! I've carried a Pro-Venator "Spur" for some time now, because I like the size not to big or to small. I'm ready for the smaller military!

We have a design only at this time. We'll probably make up a "Concept Model" this year.

We will be cutting our models for 2000 and offering fewer new models. The very large model count is getting to be too much. If we only have 5 new models we can offer, a smaller Military probably won't be an option. We'll see what reactions are before committing.

Sal I think you might find a smaller Military to be a great seller. Some of us like to carry a smaller package and the Military is an awesome design! I think it would be better than the WORKER2000...

We're going to try to have a "concept piece" at the Blade show for opinion only.

And what are the chances of one of us "Snuffies" getting to field test this "concept piece?" You know it will be a great knife, and it will sell...
Cheers!

Any idea what the specifications are on the "concept Military?" I like the current blade length, but would like a shorter handle.

Current design calls for a blade slightly over 3" from hilt to tip. The "Cockpit area" of the model is the same as the regular Military. Thus the heft and full hand feeling is still there, but the overall length is shorter. Soprt of "Stubby". "The Concept Model" will have a Rolling lock. Probably be just one or two, which means initial testing will be done by Vince and I. Sorry.
