Sal,

Just got the Military today. Great knife. I've loved you products since I bought the Spyderco TriAngle sharpener and the Standard many, many years ago at an industrial boat show in New Orleans that you were at. I have one suggest I bet has already been said. Can you make a smaller version? All my friends loved the knife, but they all asked the same question. Do they make a smaller version? Is there any plans for one?

Yeah, there is going to be a smaller Military made. It's going to use BG42 as a blade steel.

There was a thread about this just a couple of weeks ago. Go back to the list of topics and show topics from 20 days ago. It should show up there.

Here's a like to that thread: Smaller Military? When?.
OBTW, it says the initial test batch will be in BG42. If the test turns out well, then the production model will likely be 440V.

got to add my two cents here. i like the military blade and the feel of the handle, but it's too big!!! if the blade was a little shorter and the handle was only as long as it had to be to contain the blade, i'd be a happy man. keep the flat grind, the huge hole and the rest of the dimensions on the handle. just shrink the length on either end.

Leroys_45, check the thread. I think in it Sal says something exactly to that effect. Shorter on both ends, just the same ... cockpit area, or something like that.
