According to Knife Center of the Internet(www.knifecenter.com) they are going to be receiving a smaller Strider Buck next week.First 500 numbered and in BG42.
Anyone have any more info on this? Blade shape,Size, etc.
I have the full size in BG42 and love it.I hope they change away from the tanto point on this one to a more utilitarian blade shape.

Got my Mini-Strider this weekend from Knife Center of the Internet. Yippee! Now this is a husky knife that you can still carry in your pocket without pulling your pants down. Now this is not to say that it is compact, but it is more carry-able than the standard size. Nice grind lines. Blade is approx. 0.158 inch thick. Double titanium liners. Clip is still only attached to the G10 Scale. The liner has a circular cutout to provide room so the clip screws don't bottom out against the liner. (Why didn't they just drill and tap the G10 with a liner behind it to prevent reported strip thread problems???). When I ordered my knife from Knife Center of the Internet, they had only 3 BG42 knives left, I think I sprained by wallet getting my MC out and claiming one of them. Sorry folks, but I don't have a digital camera or I would post a picture. Don't cut yourselves.

I'm somewhat dissapointed that these are available to the public, but we were not able to see a picture here first. I'm a fan of Striders, My custom Strider folder, with a DROP POINT BLADE

should be in my hands by the end of this week. These are great knives. GET THE WORD OUT BUCK!!!!!!

I saw the draft of the new Buck catalog yesterday. the new Strider spearpoint is in there and it looks good. I ordered a bunch of them but couldn't get a delivery date.

I also got to handle the new Strider Jr. That one I REALLY like. I have over 30 of them on order so supply should be no problem this time. They are shipping now so it shouldn't be too long. (I AM keeping one for myself, this time.)

Buck has some neat new stuff coming out this year.
