Smaller SwissTool

I have read snippets here and there about the possibility that Victorinox will be making a smaller version of the SwissTool. As a fan of both V'nox and the LM Juice line, this rumor made me sit up and take notice. If anyone has seen something definitive, I would like to hear about it.

Thank you.

I read the rumor a while back, but haven't heard anything since. I hope it happens.

Man, there's another multitool I'd have to snap up. Frank, your link doesn't work. Can anybody else post or link to pictures?

Thanks frank k. I see by the listed measurements that this Swiss Tool, while smaller than the original, is not exactly insubstantial. It weighs more than 7 oz! I don't think the Victorinox people were aiming at the Leatherman Juice market.

Hey thanks, fellas. If that prototype(?) actually ships, I'd like to get my hands on one and try it out. But it's not quite what I was hoping for.

I really like the smallest Juice form factor. But often when I pop open the plain edge blade, I think how awesome it would be with the better blade and stronger backsprings from my V'nox Electrician. So, I was hoping for a real minimalist approach - pliers and wire cutters, phillips head screwdriver, one or two straight screwdrivers, blade, and saw. One of the straight screwdrivers could possibly double as a file. All packed into an S2-sized frame. Maybe even without a locking mechanism, just the standard Alox SAK backsprings.

That size would still be a far sight easier to carry than the current SwissTools.

That really does look interesting. My biggest gripe with the swisstool was the lack of needlenose pliers. Looks like this tool fixes that problem!
