Who makes the smallest cell phone that's usable in the US? I have Sprint right now, so it'd be ideal if it works on their network, but I'd consider switching for a really tiny phone.

I know there is a really small Samsung that looks like a smallish StarTac that Sprint has available.

If I were looking know I would look at the Motorola TimePort. Small enough to be wearable and still comfortable to use.

I just picked up a Motorola V.60 series phone and love it. Smaller than a Star-tac, yet with many more features, including an FM radio! It has voice activated dialing, etc. It has a brushed aluminum cover and is pretty cool. It is smaller than the Samsung, although I think Alltel is the only dealer for this phone now (per their admission). I like it!

The small Sprint mentioned above is the Samsung SCH-8500. I don't know much about it. I use the SCH-3500 and like it very much.

I have the 3500 too. My brother has the 8500. There is an even smaller Samsung out there, but I think it's not dual-band.

It would be practical and tactical to have a dual band or even tri-mode phone. I would take one of those over a smaller PCS-only type phone
just my $.02

I too just got a Motorola V60c! It is the BOMB! I replaced my lg-tm510 after a week and couldn't be more happy. Btw, my service is thru Verizon.

I think the Motorola V.60c is a tri-mode. I'm glad to hear that other service providers are using it, as it is truly a great phone that is packed with features.

One thing I have noticed is that my home charger gets so hot that it is uncomfortable to hold. I think I got a dud. The mobile one seems fine.
