Been strolling through tons of small fixed blade threads but maybe somebody can shorten my search.

Looking for a small FB with about a 2 inch blade 3 inch would not be out of the question just depends on the profile. Would like it to be sheeple friendly for EDC carry. Looking also for something that comes in a leather sheath or maybe nylon. FFG would be sweet too as well as micarta:)

Between $50-$80

Thanks

Any of the custom makers here could set you up with something. Stomper is great. Koyote does great work as well. So does Landi knives. there are a couple others but you really ought to get something from one of them.

A. G. Russell™ Bird & Trout. Several good choices for blade material.

I love my Boker Fixed Blade Subcom too. Great bang for the buck.

One more vote for Koyote. His work is incredible ,prices reasonable and he is a very nice person to deal with. You should give him a try ,you won't regret it.ALL THE BEST:thumbup:

Landi has a small EDC that would fit your bill.
Gossman PSK Jr also worth checking.

Some Productions:
Bark River mini-skinner or mini-CDN (or micro series), or PSK
Fallkniven WM1

Look at Bark River's PSK a really useful micro carry.Don't much care for the scratch up kydex sheath it comes with but leather can be got too.

My vote is for the Benchmade Activator as well. Although I prefer the handle configuration of the more expensive version.

Normally they wouldn't be in your range, but DLT Trading has a closeout deal on a bunch of Bark River knives. In your size range, you have the Mini and Mikro Canadians, the Pro Scalpel, etc. I carry my Mikro II daily and it's a keeper.

As for sheeple friendly...

Why hasn't anyone mentioned Bark River? (irony)

I have a Mini Canadian that lives in a Russel Woodswalker hip pocket sheath. It's a good pocket FB that is stout enough to use hard.

Now I want to try a Lil Creek, as i I need another knife!

Yeah I'm thinking the Barks over the Activator. They look like something you could whip out anywhere and people would just say awww

Check out the CRKT AG Russell sting. I think it is a great little knife, and extremely tough. Can be bought for $30. I thought that being pretty tough it would be hard to sharpen, but it turned out to be easy to get a good edge on.
