Good morning gents. I finished the sheaths for these knives last weekend, but didn't have time to shoot any photos until last night. This photo session was done under natural light on my kitchen table... and this is the best image from the batch. The shot works OK in itself, but I'll still need to pull out the light tent to get some decent "sales" images, where all of the knives are in focus... and maybe some where the hamons are visible. So, more to follow. Erin

You might notice that I didn't put my mark on the last (Walnut) knife. When sanding it out, I noticed that the hamon blobbed out a bit near the tip... so I left it with a satin finish, and have a good excuse to keep it for myself. :D

Here it is strapped to my pack.

Thanks for looking.

Hi Erin:

Nice work! Could you tell me what material you used to wrap the handles?

Thanks. I use 550 cord with the center strands removed. The wrap is then reinforced by applying West Systems slow cure epoxy. I paint it on with a small brush, and the slow-cure gives it time to soak into the cord before setting.
