Boker Smatchet with damascus?... thoughts

Ok, I have to give Boker some props for apparently reading these forums, and gauging our combined longstanding love of smatchets =D

They put some interesting damascus on it, but there is no way I'm (personally) putting up $2200+ to own one. If this could come down to around $400-$500, I might take a good long look at it. What price point do you think might convince you?

any other thoughts?

We had a thread on this one back in May. I wonder if they've been flying off the shelves since then? ;)
 
sorry, I somehow completely forgot that one, which is weird since I read anything smatchet related when I see it, and I even posted on that thread...

No problem, I support all smatchet threads in any case, because smatchet. :)
