Smith 750 grit diamond

Normally I like DMT, but I like the idea of a 750 grit diamond stone. Has anyone compared the 600 DMT to a Smith Fine stone? Is the Smith actually finer? I called Smith but nobody that they would let me talk to knew what the micron size was. Actually I already have a 750 grit Smith stone, but I was wondering what others experiences were. I'm too busy to compare right now.

I doubt you would notice much difference in the edge, they are pretty fine edges at that grit, when you jump a couple hundred grit then you notice real difference.
