Just got a custom blade from Smith and Sons this week and I had to let people know about these guys. I never heard of them before Blade Forums. I was looking for a custom knife on here and ran upon Smith and Sons selling a UltraLight skinner. I liked the look so much, I decided to call these guys up in Louisiana and have them put this beauty together.
Here are the stats then some sweet pics!
Blade: D-2 STEEL coated in a way I have never seen to protect the steel.
--- Some of the most amazing File Work on the spine ---
Handle:Stabilized Honduran Rosewood Burl with Red liners.
OVERALL LENGTH: 7"
BLADE LENGTH: 3 7/8"
BLADE STOCK: 3/32"
HORIZONTAL LEATHER SHEATH fits perfect.
Below are some unboxing pics I carried it a few times and love the way it feels in my hand and on my belt.
Smith and Sons not only have a amazing custom product but the customer service truly sets them apart. You will love working with them. Get one if you can. Call them up, they will take care of your.
