Does anyone here have any experience with the quality of their knives? I haven't found anything on them here, but I quite like their designs.

Hello High King,

My name is Alex Smith, one of 2 sons from "Smith & Sons." I was just checking out the forum today and saw your post. I'm sure you are probably wanting to hear from someone outside the company, however we are fairly new in the knife community, so not many people on the forum will have much experience with our knives as of yet. My father (who has been a maker for 15+ years) designed and built both of the models you have posted here. The top pic is our Medium Hunter model and features Steller's Sea Cow rib on the bolster area and Mammoth Ivory on the rear. The second pic is or our Fin model, which features Père David Antler as the handle. Both knives are made from D-2 steel, finished out to 60 Rockwell. Arizona Custom Knives wasn't able to add pics of the filework on these knives, however if you check out our Facebook page http://www.facebook.com/pages/Smith-Sons-LLC/109435055824676, I have posted more detailed pics of both knives there. The filework is definitely worth a look. If there are any specific question you have, please let me know. I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your interest.
