Hello,

Would you use this on one of your collectable, non-replaceable, high end folding knives?

If not .. what would you get her as Christmas gift, who just needs a very easy way to keep her knives very sharp?

Thanks

Some folks consider not sharpening collectible, non-replaceable, high end folding knives because they are high end, non replaceable, and collectible.
I'd use a Sharpmaker, and probably ask in the section dedicated to sharpening.

Oop's .. I didn't see that forum. Thanks for the heads up.

I suggested sending it to the manufacturer but this gal rarely listens to her Dad ;)

I'll look at the Sharpmaker and see if it's easy enough for her to use.

Thanks RD if you can move this to that area I would greatly appreciate it.

Take Care

Sharpmaker is great for anything with an edge. I use mine for kitchem knives, scissors, resharpening needles, even on a chisel. One thing to note, Spyderco makes a good assortment of very easy to use sharpening stones. Give them a look.
