Smiths Question

Hello,I acquired a Smiths Hard Arkansas sharpening stone in a cedar box.On the back of the box is HAB 4 in the upper right hand corner.Its a beautiful stone and seems to sharpen pretty well.Can anyone tell me any more about it.I checked every page here but couldn't find out anything.Thanks in advance for any info.

to me the arksas stones work great use water or dish dertgant in sted of oil or the namebrand honing oil
