Anyone catch the smokey mtn tactical knives tv show this past Tuesday? They aired a custom 9 made from old Camillus stock that has been powder coated and micarta handled by Justin G. From Ranger knives. Pretty cool looking.

I missed it, but Justin does some great work. I would love to have seen that.

Perhaps in this world of interwebz, and digital pictures, someone will post up a picture of that custom creation.

Ya, 26 were made and 20 were gone by the end of the show. Just finished watching it off the dvr cause I was at work Tuesday night. Not sure if any of the 6 remaining are still available. I will try and search for a pic.
 
I guess I'm glad I didn't see it... I woulda bought one or five. :D It'd be nice to see one in person though
 
Found some linkage. Would it be deal spotting if it were for ogling purposes?

I sent a set of Cold Steel knives and a British MOD 4 to Justin

Had him remove the coatings and reshape the guards

and install G-10 grips

Link said it was 1/4" thick blade---is that acurrate ??? Anyone know for sure ? If so, it would be one HD blade.

Kinda deal spotting, so I fixed it for ya.

Looks interesting.

Doc, Justin's work is great. And he's a helluva nice guy.
