Has anyone removed the secondary spring loaded ball detent and do you like the knife that way? I’m just wondering pros/cons if it’s worth doing to mine.

Has anyone removed the secondary spring loaded ball detent and do you like the knife that way? I’m just wondering pros/cons if it’s worth doing to mine.

I pulled mine out early on just to see what would happen and didn’t like it. Stock the detent was too soft IMO, So I enlarged the primary detent hole to seat the ball with a diamond bit. Perfect action now!

Oh awesome, I think I’ll try out what you did and thanks for the video link. Out of the box the detent is a little stiff for my taste.
