SMOG on the store

When the trough reopened, I put one of each in the basket without even seeing what they were. When I checked to see what I got, I threw back the black one (I already have two) and kept the SMOG. When I checked back maybe half a minute later, they were all gone. I got the satin @ $227, but I really wanted the serrated. Maybe next time.
 
I'm sure on Thursday when you get it, you can sell the satin on the exchange for one MILLION DOLLARS. It'll last about 38 miliseconds. LOL

I was going to point out all the prblems with a SMOG being sold for say over $300 next week (even from the sellers side) but I ran out of breath and decided to have another scotch since I'm off work tomorrow. :p :p

What does a guy have to do? Get one of those Sprint or Cingular internet cards and carry a quarter-mile of extension cord, just in case? At least my regular wireless reaches the backyard deck and the bathroom.

The really ridiculous part is you can't be away for more than 3 mins. or your screwed. Why can't enough be listed where the supply could last at least a couple of hours?

Well, at least in regards to the SMOGs, everyone knew that they were part of a very limited military overrun, with the operating word being "limited". I thinkk Skunk said there were a total of @ 89 non-serrated SMOGs. It doesn't take long for those to get grabbed.

As for the GWs in general, I don't know how many of each variation Busse is making, but again, Skunk has indicated that when it is all said and done, there will be about 14 or 15 different GW configurations. Busse is not Walmart and to me, no matter which way you slice it, 15 variations adds up to ALOT of knives and ALOT of opportunity to get one. Of course, if you missed out from the store, there is always the trade forum which, believe it or not, sometimes does have a good deal on INFI. There was just a good one on a black GW in fact. No, it was not original asking price, but after shipping to a new buyer, the guy maybe made $20 ($25 tops) for his time -- his time being the time to package it, ship it, and originally sit in front of his computer for God knows how long just to get it in the first place.
 
Yeah. $220 isn't that bad of a deal. $20 more than you'd get it at the store. A fair premium. VERY fair.

I can see a SMOG going EASILY for $350+ in the next 7-10 days. It will go for what the market will bear. I think the market will bear a TON. Esp. with a pile of folk trying to grab one and the others that buy 5 at a time. (DANG! 5 of each at a time - a GRAND on SMOGs. WHOA!)

Yes I think Skunk said somewhere that hundreds of Game Warderns were on their way to him. That is a hell of a lot of Wardens. So I'm wondering if they will last at the store this time for some period of time still sell out in minutes.

I'm missing one or two so I'm hope to fill in a missing hole here and there.
