I've been trying to be honest with my wife about all the new toys I buy, so when I received a Satin SMOG the other day I decided to 'fess up. I tell her I got a new knife, and she gives me the third degree about "how much did it cost this time"......so like an idiot, I tell her:foot: She proceeds to flip out saying I "just bought new knife and why the hell do you need another one." Needless to say that its a good thing none of my knives were around at the time or I'd be singing soprano. So after a little while I bring out the new SMOG to show her what a great little blade it actually is and how it was worth the money. Her immediate response was "ooohh, thats cute! I like the handle." and walks off with it!
And today she tells me that I need to make her a sheath for her new knife!!
Looking on the bright side of this, I've gotten some points for getting a knife she actually likes and approves of. Should smooth things over when the other GWs and eventually the FBM show up.
