Smoke and Prayer Request

:This is kind of a strange request, but my nine year old yellow lab was acting funny about eating last week and I thought he had a tooth abscess. I took him to the vet and they drew some blood and informed me he was in acute kidney failure. I don't think I have been this torn up since my grandmother died when I was 11. He is a member of my family and I love him like he is one of my children. He is still at the vet getting IV fluids and he hasn't really eaten anything since Friday. I really would appreciate any prayers and smoke for my little buddy. Thanks in advance.

I lost a young black lab to parvo. I can understand how you feel.

I've been where you are and I know exactly how you're feeling. I REALLY hope your boy gets through this.

Vet science is pretty good these days, he has a chance, everything crossed.

You might want to set aside, not use but still keep the food, just in case that's where the problem is/was.
 
Thanks to everyone. He came home on Friday. He is still pretty down, but his appetite is returning. They still aren't sure what the cause was. It is still possible he has cancer, I sure hope not. Thanks for everyone's prayers, he still needs them.
