Just got word late last night that one of my female cousins seems to have cancer, all the test results haven't came back as yet.
Suzy is younger than me by a couple of years and the news really caught me by surprise although I guess it shouldn't have seeing as how I've gently harped on her the last 30 years about giving up those damned cigarettes she insisted on smoking.
I couldn't really say much about Suzy smoking during that length of time because I would often have my own open pack in my pocket....
But when I finally put down tobacco for good except the rare times I light up my Sacred Pipe I was able to step it up a bit about trying to get Suzy to quit, still didn't do a damned bit of good!!!!
But in spite of Suzy not taking my advice I along with the rest of her kin still love her and always will no matter what.
What really concerns us is that Suzy keeps saying, "I'm just so tired, all I want to do is lay here and rest and let someone else take care of me for a change."
Sue has indeed been the one to step up and take care of whoever it was in the family that needed special care. She has been involved with one of her grandsons the last several years who needs special care to be able to make his way in the world and she's got that task pretty well taken care of now so that's probably why she feels that she has earned a long rest. Helluvit is none of us like the way Suzy is talking about taking a long rest, it's like she has given up and that's totally outta character for Suzy.
