Smoke or prayers, as you prefer

I got a bit of bad news this afternoon. After nearly two years battling lung cancer, my grandfather passed away this morning at 70 years old. It was a little bit of a suprise, because he was starting to get his appetite back from the chemo treatments and had even put back on a little bit of weight. I'd secretly started to hope he'd make it back to the big, gregarious old guy who's lap would always be open if we didn't want to sit at the kids table. Who's missing bellybutton inspired me to join the military, and who was never too busy to teach me how to fix my car or build something right.

So if you can spare it, prayers or smoke or positive thoughts for "Papa" Ken Watson would be much obliged. Thank you!

I'm sorry for your loss.

But a neat guy, eh?

Nice to have him in your life.

Smoke sent. Sounds like someone who will be around in what he taught you.

There's a chinese proverb about respect for the elders:

" If you have someone at home who's old, you have a gold"

I often learned tricks whenever i stick around with my grandparents. They made my road ahead a lot more smoother and shorter to destination.

Papa Ken, you have been a good person. May you rest in peace.

Smoke sent. Voodoo, you have been a lucky dude. We all do.

Smoke and prayers up. I am sorry for your loss.
I miss my Grampa too, it's been 28 years since he passed and I am still taking care of my family with the things he taught me as a kid.
